Redlynch Agricultural Engineering Celebrates Handover of 1000th Fendt Tractor
Our team recently marked a historic achievement: the handover of our 1000th Fendt tractor during the brand’s 50th year of trading in the UK. To celebrate, Redlynch hosted an unforgettable event in Wiltshire, attended by over 400 guests from the agricultural community, including customers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts.
Nick Heal, Company Founder and Director, reflected on the dealership’s journey:” Reaching this milestone is a testament to the quality of Fendt machinery, our team’s hard work and dedication, and the unwavering support of our customers. This celebration is as much about them as it is about us. It reflects the core of Redlynch, what we stand for—community, going that extra mile and always keeping the bigger picture in mind for long-term progress.”
A Celebration of Innovation and Legacy
The 1000th tractor, a Fendt 724 Gen6, exemplifies the brand’s innovation and reliability. As the most popular model in 2023, it accounted for nearly 50% of Fendt tractors sold in the UK. Alongside it, Redlynch showcased the revolutionary and brand-new 620 Vario, a 4-cylinder, 224-horsepower tractor designed to meet the demands of modern farming. Tying in the celebration with Fendt’s own 50th anniversary in the UK, the dealership displayed the Lamma gold-wrapped 720, on its way to its new owner, sold by Redlynch.
Amongst the impressive display included a full range of tractor models from 211, 312, 516, 720 Gen6, 724 Gen6, 728 Gen7, 936, 1050, also the Rogator 655 and 1290XD Baler to incorporate the Fendt full line. Guests also explored the evolution of Fendt technology, with a display of classic models, including an FW231GT first registered in 1976, an FW116D from 1959, and one of the first Fendt tractors Redlynch sold, a 312. These machines highlighted Fendt’s legacy of durability and Redlynch’s commitment to their customers.
Customer Quote (Martin Haskett Contracting);
“Redlynch have been brilliant since day one. Their service is second to none and very efficient, with any field issues usually resolved within a few hours. I’ll never forget when my Katana forager needed a major repair after hours and the team had it fully sorted and back to work the same night! We’re always confident that the team can help whether it’s parts, repairs or even being in the market for a new machine – Redlynch are the best out there”.
