Service Supervisor Vacancy – Bruton Depot
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Supervisor to join our Head Office at Bruton in Somerset has arisen. The ideal candidate will thrive working in a busy environment where they can demonstrate their organisational and customer service skills and technical knowledge of machinery that is in for repair.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting them and the rest of the team with the day-to-day running of our expert Service Department. Working alongside the Service Manager in a large department, duties include booking in customers’ machinery for repair and tasking the workshop engineers each day with scheduling jobs, processing job cards, orders, invoices, and warranties, and handling payments, whilst also assisting with some technical issues over the phone. The successful applicant will be expected to uphold the company’s high level of professionalism and customer centric ethos.
Requirements
- An ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a multi-franchise environment
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the business, including customers and teammates, whilst maintaining and upholding company standards
- Excellent customer relationship skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Strong and up to date IT skills
- To be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- Technical knowledge of machinery is desirable
Working Conditions
Based at our Bruton depot, but visits to customers and other depots as required. A mobile phone, laptop and IT-based applications will be provided. At times, the successful applicant will be expected to perform duties outside of the job description to ensure the maintenance of a high-level service to our customers
Opening hours: 8 am – 6 pm weekdays, 8 am – 1 pm Saturdays – working on rotation.
What We Offer
- £27,000 to £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience and growth)
